Claude C2PA Metadata
Anthropic says supported files produced by Claude may include C2PA content credentials: cryptographically signed provenance metadata. It is separate from the statistical watermark in Claude text.
What C2PA communicates
A credential records that Claude made or processed a file. It is not a hidden change to the file content.
Tool limits
A metadata inspector should identify the actual format and fields it reads, and should never infer a credential from unrelated file properties.
Check your Claude text
Inspect every detectable hidden character locally, then clean only the artifacts you select.
