Claude Image Watermark
Anthropic says supported Claude-generated image files can carry a C2PA content credential in metadata. This is a signed provenance note, not a visible image watermark and not Claude’s statistical text watermark.
C2PA is metadata
C2PA-aware tools can read eligible credentials. Removing or changing metadata has different preservation and provenance implications than editing pixels.
Inspect files carefully
Only claim detection or removal for file formats and metadata fields your tool actually supports.

Inspect every detectable hidden character locally, then clean only the artifacts you select.
